reusing brings happiness

last saturday, almost a week ago gosh im behind, i traveled down to tucson to surprise my Brian and join him in his yard sale adventure. you see i was at a concert and not planning on going to the annual community yard sale that happens at his parent's community.

i was really not that excited about it. but once i was there i began to enjoy roaming through people's personal(odd) collections and i found some useless pieces that i fell in love with.

examples:
random origami tree with love birds love at first sight $1
the back made me love it even more, it could have been plain but oh no its amazing

Gorgeous color pots, really i wanted them because i loved the color not because of the purpose
even better they were FREE

and these totally useless little miniature chairs
$5 bucks for both

my last find...i literally squealed with excitement
leather bounded classic antique books. five $ for 7

just a preview on how i may decorate my new house when i get it.

i must say. i think i like old things better than new. weird i know.

  2. Wait, you made out like a bandit! I love everything you got. I always thrift shop but I never make out with that many cute things in one outing. I think I like the tree thing the most but those books are so classic, adorable.
